Shaper Machine
A shaper machine is machine tool that uses linear relative motion in its cutting action on the work piece. Cutting takes place during forwarding stroke of ram and backwards stroke comes back idle, only restores the position of ram.

Slotter Machine
Slotting machine is quite identical to Shaper machine. The only difference lies in the cutting mechanism, ie horizontal and vertical. In slotting machine works with holding ram in vertical axis and cutting action in downwards stroke only. Rams are either crank driven or hydraulic driven. It works for small industries.
Planner Machine
The planner machine is designed to work on the large and heavy work items. Here work piece is affixed on table and adjusted against the cutting tool. And it is workable on both horizontal and vertical mechanism.
